Con las casetas de peaje cada vez con más gente, el TAG IAVE es una opción excelente para pasar por las casetas con más rapidez. Los que cuentan con el TAG IAVE gozan de filas cortas, carriles dedicados, pagos automáticos y las tarifas descontadas.

¿Qué significa IAVE?

IAVE significa Identificación Automática de Vehículos que le permite pagar las casetas de peaje de manera automática.

¿Cómo funciona el Sistema IAVE?

Una vez inscrito, la oficina de IAVE proveerá un dispositivo rígido o de adhesión que usted adhiere a su parabrisa de auto. El dispositivo rígido es de plástico con las dimensiones similares a una tarjeta de crédito, pero más grueso. Cuando usted maneja hacia el carril IAVE, el semáforo estaría en rojo hasta que el sistema lee su dispositivo e identifica su vehículo y deduce la tarifa. Después el semáforo cambiará verde y usted podrá continuar.

¿Dónde está ubicado el carril IAVE?

Cerca de la caseta de peaje, hay señalamientos que le guían hacia el carril IAVE. Entre Tijuana y Ensenada, los carriles están ubicados a la derecha. Son pintadas con colores fuertes y en la noche son adornados con luces para que sean identificados con facilidad. Hay otros carriles que también aceptan IAVE pero no son carriles dedicados.

¿Cuáles son las formas de pago aceptados por las casetas de IAVE?

Actualmente hay tres formas de pago aceptados, y son:

  • Prepago simple- Abona a tu TAG a partir de $50.00 hasta $3,000.00 con tu tarjeta de crédito o débito (VISA/MasterCard)
  • Prepago domiciliado- Se define un cargo a tu TAG, mínimo de $200.00, y recurrente entre ($500.00, $1,000.00, $2,000.00 y $2,500.00) con tu tarjeta de crédito (VISA/MasterCard)
  • Postpago-Sus pagos de casetas serán cargados de forma automática a tu tarjeta de crédito registrada. Para clientes American Express®, sólo se aplicará el cargo que corresponda al pago del peaje. Para clientes VISA/MasterCard se realizará el cargo inicial por el concepto de fondo de garantía por la cantidad de $200.00 IVA incluido, posteriormente se hará el cargo cuando hagas uso de la caseta de peaje.
¿Dónde puedo conseguir un TAG IAVE?

Usted puede conseguir uno en línea en el sitio IAVE o puede acudir a una oficina.

Hay dos oficinas de informes ubicados en la carretera entre Tijuana-Ensenada:

  • Playas de Tijuana - Está cerca a la caseta vieja de peaje, si está viajando hacia el sur, está a mano izquierda.
  • Ensenada - Cerca de la caseta de peaje. Si está viajando hacia el sur, está a mano izquierda.
¿Cuáles son los requisitos para obtener un TAG IAVE?
  • Identificación oficial vigente (se aceptan las licencias de conducir vigentes de EE.UU.)
  • Una tarjeta de crédito
¿Está disponible el Sistema IAVE en otras casetas de peaje en México?

Sí. El sistema IAVE está disponible en la mayoría de las casetas de peaje que se encuentran en México. Visite a la página de IAVE para consultar su Mapa Carretero que tiene las carreteras que aceptan el TAG IAVE.
