One alternate, shown below, is to cross at Tecate and take the free road at La Misión.
Time to get to Ensenada: Approximately 30-40 minutes
Overview: Exit the Scenic Toll Road (Mexico 1) at Km. 59.5 (Alisitos exit, near Hotel La Fonda) take the free road inland all the way to Ensenada. This route passes the exit for the Baja wine valley (Valle de Guadalupe) as well.
