Overview: Exit the Scenic Toll Road (Mexico 1) at Km. 59.5 (Alisitos exit, near Hotel La Fonda) take the free road inland all the way to Ensenada. This route passes the exit for the Baja wine valley (Valle de Guadalupe) as well.
At approximately K59.5, at the Alisitos exit (near Hotel La Fonda) traffic is directed off the Scenic Toll Road (Mexico 1) and onto the free road.Curve down to the right. At the "Alto" take a left, following the Ensenada sign.Next, you will pass Hotel La Fonda on the right and parallel the ocean before heading east into La Misión.After passing through La Misión, the road begins to climb a winding hill.Then it levels out.To visit the Baja wine valley (Valle de Guadalupe) watch for the exit signs.Descending into Ensenada.Exiting the free road and taking a temporary road.Arriving into Ensenada near the Ensenada toll booth.

I received service above and beyond my expectations from Angela at Baja Bound Mexican Insurance...rvices when I needed roadside assistance. Meaning, she didn't give me the Chubb Insurance phone number and tell me to report my need to them. She did a 3 way call, placed the call and stayed on the 14 minute call to make sure the Chubb agent on the other end properly logged my issue and promised to follow up with me with the details of who would be coming to help me. She even said, if you don't hear back from him in 30 - 60 minutes, give me a call and I'll find out what's going on. You feel pretty vulnerable when your vehicle is stranded, but Angela made sure that Baja Bound Mexican Insurance had my back and I can't thank them enough for that...two thumbs, way up!!
